Doctors Can’t Believe What’s Happening While This Woman Is Giving Birth

Surprises Along the Way

After Nicole gave birth to their first child, they welcomed a second child into the world, adding even more unexpected twists to their illuminating maternity story.

The new parents may have been apprehensive at first, but after they held their beautiful babies, their fears quickly faded.

“This has been one of the best days of my life, and also one of the biggest emotional rollercoasters I have ever been on,” Matt wrote on Facebook.

Full of Surprises

Nicole and Matt needed to break the news to their loved ones, and they had just the plan.

They gathered their family and friends, as well as the hospital personnel, in their room to witness the momentous occasion.

Nicole was tucking one of the twins under the blankets in the corner of the hospital cot. Nicole’s family was just as startled to learn that she was expecting twins as she and her husband were to learn that they were having babies.

Can you imagine how surprised they must’ve been?

A Deeper Meaning

Nicole and Matt were ecstatic to learn they were having twins. They had become a part of the couple’s lives and it was impossible to imagine life without either baby.

Ultimately, the family realized that the shift in their original delivery plan was for the best. What if Nicole had a home delivery? Would the outcome have been the same?

Although I tend to favor natural remedies wherever possible, I recognize that there are instances when medical assistance is warranted, and Matt admits that this was one of those times.

But the couple’s story wasn’t over just yet.

Medical Issues

The narrative of Nicole, Matt, and their children, Blakeley and Cade, was far from over.

Recall how we briefly discussed the twins’ medical difficulties that needed to be resolved before they could be taken home?

The physicians noticed Cade had breathing problems almost immediately after his birth. He was “pushed out so rapidly and never really had contractions,” therefore his lungs and fluid in his lungs did not come out as well as his sister’s, Matt wrote on Facebook.
