Doctors Can’t Believe What’s Happening While This Woman Is Giving Birth

After the arrival of your tiny bundle of joy, no amount of planning or preparation will have been sufficient. You should be prepared for the unexpected as a matter of course.

This was certainly the case for Matt and Nicole Ziesemer of Michigan, and they weren’t the only ones taken aback by the events that unfolded after the birth of their first child. Surgery performed on Nicole when she was in labor revealed shocking news to the medical staff.

She’s Pregnant!

Incredible as it may seem, in September of 2017 Nicole Ziesemer learned that she was expecting her first child. And she, like so many others, couldn’t wait to tell Matt the wonderful news. She didn’t feel comfortable telling him in casual conversation, though.

Nicole came up with a creative approach to tell her husband, knowing that their lives would change forever after she broke the news.

But she had no idea what was around the corner from her.

Sharing the Wonderful News

The positive result of a pregnancy test is shocking and unexpected no matter how long you’ve been trying to conceive. Nicole was overjoyed to learn she was expecting, and she wanted Matt to experience the same level of delight.

“This was my first pregnancy, and it was all new to me,” Nicole said to ABC’s WZZM 13 about her experience.

Nicole couldn’t wait until Labor Day to tell Matt the wonderful news and start celebrating their new addition. As a result, she chose to reveal the information in an unexpected way.

A Clever Surprise

Matt and Nicole Ziesemer had been dating for five years when this story takes place, so they weren’t a newlywed couple. Nicole couldn’t contain her elation at the good news, and she had a cute present prepared to surprise Matt.

To find out, she got me a jersey that stated, “World’s Greatest Father,” as Matt told ABC’s WZZM 13. What an innovative idea!

The holiday weekend of Labor Day was especially memorable for the married couple because it was around that time that they learned of their impending parenthood.

The happy couple, however, still had more surprises in store.
